ID Requirements
Why do we require proof of ID and address?
We are regulated by the Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (Amendment) Regulations 2019, and Know Your Customer (KYC) guidelines, which means we must verify the ID and address of customers and certain shareholders.
It will take you 5 minutes to provide ID using your smartphone
We have teamed up with CREDAS to provide you with a state-of-the-art mobile App to digitally certify and send us your proof of ID in just 5 minutes, for no additional cost.
Our ID Team will send you an invitation by email with simple instructions on how to use the App. We recommend you use your passport or Driving Licence.
Your proof of address can be sent separately via a secure upload link provided by our compliance team. This should normally take the form of a recent bank statement or utility bill, dated within the last 3 months.
Who needs to supply ID
Not everybody will need to provide their ID & proof of address. Depending on the structure of your company and the services you have, we may be able to satisfy our ID checks digitally instead, so there is no need to proactively supply this information unless requested.
If we do need to ask you for ID and address, our compliance team will drop you an email with the names of the people we require it from, so you do not have work this out for yourself.
